Renowned Filipino fashion designer Francis Libiran and JIM Weaver Creative Director Isabelle Ocier blend the beauty of tradition into this extraordinary work of art that simultaneously celebrates fashion, architecture, and culture within the space of silk scarf.

His cool concept brought forth to life by her fiery strokes, Fire and Ice is woven passion, a dance on silk. Serendipitously, their work also depicts the rectilinear/feminine and curvilinear/masculine sides of Okir, the traditional design system characterized by flow and geometry. Together, they bring forth a vivid illustration of strong structural elements of the torogan (a traditional royal residence) through elegant flourishes across the soft canvas.

The JIM Weaver X Francis Libiran collection launches our line of 120×120 pure silk scarves—our most expansive to date. Each Fire and Ice scarf comes with a reversible 3-layer fabric mask to match.

Material and Craftsmanship

Smooth and lustrous, this JIM Weaver x Francis Libiran scarf is made of 100% natural silk twill and is 120×120 cm big. Hems are hand-rolled, so no two scarves are alike. Natural silk can last a lifetime with proper care. We recommend dry-cleaning only and no hot iron for best results.

Each scarf also comes with a free matching 3-layer reversible fabric face mask that offers maximum comfort and protection. There is a water repellent fabric filter in between two fast-drying polyester layers. Ear loops are adjustable to fit most face shapes and sizes.

Packaging

Your scarf will be delivered in a free gift box, tied with a ribbon and finished off with a free gift tag where you can write notes to your loved ones. Inside, each scarf will be wrapped in Japanese paper and comes with a card insert in premium paper that describes the design inspiration and care instructions. It also comes with a free fabric mask to that matches the design of your scarf.

Operation Blessing is a global nonprofit, humanitarian organization that works to fight hunger, disease, unemployment, illiteracy, and abuse—one person, one family, and one community at a time. Francis Libiran

An icon in Philippine fashion, Francis has created masterpieces seen on Hollywood royalty, beauty queens, coveted catwalks around the world, and countless brides and grooms. Evident in his signature art deco style are both his background in architecture and a reverent passion for detail. Structure and elegance are synonymous to the FL brand; humility and sheer talent are praise for the man behind it.

Isabelle Ocier

A visual storyteller at heart, Isabelle is a Filipino artist and graphic designer who combines her love for travel, books, and whimsy with her penchant for mixing her favored art mediums—acrylic, watercolor, digital styling, and modern calligraphy—into single frames. As the Creative Director at JIM Weaver, she enjoys sneaking quirky easter eggs into her mostly grown-up designs.
